Hot Springs Chamber Announces Sheryl Staggs’ Graduation from IOM

The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Sheryl Staggs, Director of Finance and Operations, has a recently graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute of Organizational Management. 

“I came to IOM expecting an exceptional educational experience, but I left with friendships that I know will last a lifetime," said Staggs. "While the coursework and leadership development have been invaluable, the relationships I built with Chamber professionals from across the country have been the most meaningful part of my journey. Those connections have truly been life-changing. We learned together, celebrated each other's successes, supported one another through challenges, and built friendships that extend far beyond the classroom."

“I’m so proud of Sheryl for her dedication and accomplishment of graduating from IOM," said Vickie Gilliam, Chamber Vice President.  "This achievement reflects her commitment to professional growth and excellence. The knowledge and skills she gained through the program have been incredibly beneficial in her role at the chamber." 

The Institute for Organization Management, is a development program for professionals specifically in a nonprofit management position. This esteemed recognition signifies a individual's completion of 96 credit hours of course instruction in nonprofit management. This certification is earned over the course of 4 years, where students attend a week-long session that amounts to 24 hours every summer or winter across the country. The topics include information on membership, finance, human resources, advocacy, and more.
