Hot Springs Village Board of Directors Announces 2026 Election Results
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, AR, March 27, 2026 - The Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association (HSVPOA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the results of the 2026 Board election. The votes were officially tabulated by The Inspectors of Elections (TIE), the independent third-party firm overseeing the election process.
Two candidates have been elected to serve three-year terms on the Board of Directors:
1. Larry Siener - 4,509 votes
2. Jama Lopez - 4,301 votes
Newly Elected Board Members
Larry Siener
Larry Siener has served on the Hot Springs Village Board of Directors since 2023, bringing a strong focus on responsible financial stewardship and infrastructure investment. With more than 42 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including leadership of complex, high-value programs, Larry offers a disciplined and strategic approach to governance. Since joining the Board, he has helped oversee significant progress in addressing long-standing infrastructure needs. A Village property owner since 2014, Larry has also served as Chair of the Finance and Planning Committee and as a member of the Future Revenue Assessment Task Force, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the community.
Jama Lopez
Jama T. Lopez, a licensed CPA in Arkansas and Texas, brings extensive financial and leadership experience with a strong focus on non-profit and not-for-profit organizations. A Hot Springs Village property owner since 2011, she has served the community in multiple capacities, including as a member of the POA Board of Directors and Treasurer. Jama also played a key role in supporting the POA’s accounting operations, including leading efforts during a major system transition. Her unique experience working both at the Board level and within operations provides valuable perspective, while her background in financial oversight and fiduciary responsibility supports sound governance and long-term stability for the Village.
The remaining candidates received the following votes:
- Donald Balm - 2,430 votes
- Janet Rowe – 1,931 votes
