Hot Springs Village Celebrates Successful First-Ever 'Artoberfest' Event
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – Hot Springs Village hosted its inaugural Artoberfest on Saturday, October 4, drawing more than 3,000 attendees to a day filled with art, music, food, and community celebration at the Ponce de Leon Center and Grove Park.
With more than 50 artisan and craft vendors, the event featured live demonstrations, a vibrant marketplace, and displays from numerous community clubs and business organizations. Families enjoyed a dedicated Kid Zone and petting zoo, while those seeking a little competition joined the bike poker ride or hopped aboard train rides provided by First HSV.
Visitors sampled diverse cuisine from local food trucks and traditional German beer, capturing the spirit of fall in a lively outdoor atmosphere. Two bands delivered energetic performances throughout the afternoon — Livin’ the Dream Band and Brass Tacks Band — keeping the crowd entertained from start to finish.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the turnout and participation for our first Artoberfest,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Terry Wiley. “The combination of art, music, and community connections truly brought the Village together and set the foundation for an annual tradition.”
With perfect autumn weather and enthusiastic community support, Artoberfest marked the beginning of a new seasonal highlight for Hot Springs Village, celebrating local creativity, family fun, and the spirit of togetherness that defines the community.
